The West Septum Chisel brings multiple advantages to the operating room. These advantages are ideal to perform rhinology surgeries involving the nasal cavity and its bony contents.
For this purpose, the chisel features a 4.0mm one-sided beveled blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, surgeons can press the blade against the nasal septum’s bone or the submucosa. After that, they can start to scrape out slices of bony tissue for reshaping.
In addition, the device has a solid, square-shaped handle equipped with corner indentations. This particular design provides a confident grip and reduces fatigue during lengthy procedures.
