The Skene Tenaculum Forcep offers multiple benefits for gynaecologists and obstetrics specialists. Its principal use is to assists surgeons during hysterectomies, amniotomies, tubal ligation and other surgeries.

For this purpose, the instrument features single-toothed, sharp-pointed tips that ensure exceptional grasping onto heavy tissues. Moreover, the tips curve inward and have a concave outline for accommodating the grasped tissues.

In addition, the curved profile of the device is useful to access the vaginal canal with comfort. Also, the handle stems include a ratchet system for self-locking the jaws and manipulating other instruments.
