El Separador de Bowdler-Henry ofrece ventajas indispensables en la cirugía de las muelas de juicio. Desempeña la importante función de incrementar la exposición de dichas muelas durante su extracción.

Para este fin, el instrumento posee una hoja con dos curvaturas ligeras que garantizan retracciones delicadas. Aparte, la punta exhibe acanaladuras que aferran el instrumento a los tejidos sujetados.
