Secures and separates incisions and wounds to enlarge surgical field for surgical access.
Especially includes outward curving 3 by 3 prongs that hook onto tissues for secure grip. The blunt tips prevent inadvertent soft tissue damage. The unique curve of the jaws also allow easy placement.
In addition, the smooth outer curves of the instrument also protects soft tissue from damage. The retracting forceps includes ergonomic finger ring handles for better control.
The instrument has a smooth design and light weight which allows comfortable handling. Moreover, the ratchet lock efficiently allows self retaining, which allows surgeons to use both hands during procedure.
The Milligan Self Retaining Retractor is available in overall length of 13.5 cm which is ideal for small and medium sized incisions.
Made in premium quality stainless steel with satin finish to reduce glare. The instrument can be sterilized and reused.
