The Kilner-Doughty Tongue Depressor offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide a safe way to keep the mouth from closing during oral surgery.

For this purpose, the instrument features a 90° angled blade that accommodates to the contour of the jawbone. In addition, the blade is available in different sizes that range from 75 x 29 to 85 x 38mm to accommodate a variety of patients.
