The Heifetz Brain Spatula offers a wide assortment of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to separate the delicate brain parenchyma without the risk of tearing.

For this purpose, the instrument is available in two versatile designs that are suitable for multiple functions. For example, the double-ended pattern features a straight outline and wide flat surfaces for retracting large areas of tissue.

On the other hand, the single-ended Heifetz Brain Spatula features an ergonomic round handle attached to a curved spatula. Furthermore, its curved profile helps surgeons in accessing narrow spaces and accommodates to the brain’s curvatures.

Additionally, the double-ended spatula’s size ranges from 7 + 8mm to 22 + 22mm. The single-ended spatula features sizes that may vary from 8 to 20mm. As a result, the devices accommodate to a variety of brain dimensions.
