The Graefe Dissecting Forcep offers a broad range of benefits during general, ENT, and ophthalmic surgery. Its principal uses are to grasp materials and separate soft tissues.

For these purposes, the instrument features tapered, small jaws provided with 1 x 2 sharp teeth. As a result, the operator can easily cut through delicate tissues and debris or simply remove embedded foreign bodies.
