The Alfonso Nucleus Trisector offers a wide range of post-surgical benefits after cataract surgery. The instrument can divide the lens nucleus, and its use prevents the stretching of the tunnel during delivery.
For this purpose, the device features an atraumatic trisecting tip. Moreover, surgeons can place the nucleus over the Alfonso Cutting Platform. After that, they use the trisector to divide the nucleus into three pieces before extraction.
