Eves Tonsil Snare

Eves Tonsil Snare assists surgeons in ensuring hemostasis during tonsillectomy operations. You can start by encircling the pedicle through the snare’s open wire loop. Then, close the thumb ring to clamp the wire loop over the tonsillar pedicle. Finally, crush the pedicle to release a powerful vasoconstrictor, thromboplastin, that helps stop the bleeding.

  • Self-Retaining Ratcheted Model Available.

Eves Tonsil Snare assist doctors to remove tonsils when they cause infections or problems in breathing. Doctors use the device to encircle the tonsil in order to clamp its neck and reduce bleeding.

Therefore, we made the handles with a long profile and a thumb ring to increase your grip and control. Moreover, the two side rings for the index and middle fingers have ideal positions to prevent strain and improve your accuracy.

We also made the snare with a straight tip so you can place your wire loop with precision over the neck of the tonsil. In addition, the slender profile allows you to view the tip directly in small spaces.

The Eves Tonsil Snare is 28.5 cm long to reach deep parts of the neck. It is also available with and without a ratchet depending on your preference.

Instruments manufacture surgical devices from premium grade stainless steel that you can depend on for years of fine service.
