The Epker-Bauer Osteotome brings multiple benefits to the operating room. These benefits are important to perform osteotomy on skull bones during maxillofacial surgery.

For this purpose, the instrument has an 8.0mm curved, beveled blade supplied with a sharp cutting edge. Moreover, surgeons can press the cutting edge against the bone and struck the impacting platform for reshaping.

In addition, the device features a solid handle equipped with a round impacting platform at the bottom. This particular design provides an ergonomic grip and allows a smooth mallet action.
