The Doyen Rib Raspatory offers a broad range of benefits for cardiothoracic surgeons. These benefits come in handy during certain procedures that require optimal exposure of the thoracic contents.

For instance, the raspatory comes with a spiral-shaped blade with sharp cutting edges. Moreover, the blade is available in adult and pediatric sizes for engaging small and larger ribs according to the surgical case. Also, the circular curve of the blade comes in right or left patterns.

As a result, surgeons can engage ribs of all sizes and from both sides of the ribcage. In addition, the ergonomically designed hollow handle is ideal to prevent fatigue.
