The Cushing Brain Spatula offers a broad range of advantages. Its principal use is to provide an efficient way to manipulate the delicate brain parenchyma during intracranial surgery.

For this purpose, the instrument features a versatile double-ended profile tailored to perform different functions. Both ends resemble the shape of a scoop and have blunt edges to avoid brain tearing.

In addition, one end is larger than the other, which allows surgeons to manoeuvre the device in narrow and wide cavities. The sizes of the spatulas range from 7 + 9mm to 18 + 22mm, which accommodate a variety of patients.

Moreover, the Cushing Brain Spatula features a central solid, flat handle with a straight outline. This ergonomic design ensures enhanced gripping and prevents slippage or fatigue.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
