Cottle-Neivert Alar Hooks assist surgeons to treat nasal diseases. For instance, the device retracts soft tissues like the nasal ala in plastic surgery. This exposes the nose in order to repair nose fractures and deviations that result from trauma or disease. In addition, it can treat pain and remove infected tissues.

Surgeons place the buttonhook on the inside of the ala and pull back on the handle. Therefore, we designed the handle with a long and light frame to provide firm grips. Moreover, the flat profile grants comfort and prevents finger strain in long procedures.

We made this Cottle-Neivert Alar Hook is 19.5 cm long and has a slender profile to pass into narrow spaces easily. You can use the two prongs to make stable retractions, while the round buttons allow you to pull back tissues without damaging surrounding structures. In addition, the tips have curved necks so you can see the inside of the nose directly.

Furthermore, we offer other hooks to cover wide surgical indications. This includes the Lange and Fomon Alar Hooks, which have different blade shapes to customize your approach for every patient.

Instruments manufacture these hooks from premium grade materials that you can depend on for years of fine service.
