The Butterfly Probe / Grooved Director offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to assist surgeons in cholecystectomy, frenotomy and other procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a straight, grooved shaft that ensures maximum exposure of the surgical field. In addition, the shaft ends in a regular-type or probe-type tip, which are useful to examine deep cavities.
