The Bose Tracheal Spreader offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to assist surgeons and medical emergency staff during airway obstruction and prolonged intubation.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of outwardly curved prongs to conform to the anatomy of the trachea. In addition, the tips of the prongs have a blunt profile to minimize mucosal damage during the procedure.

Moreover, the Bose Tracheal Spreader features a spring handle mechanism for tightening the prongs. Also, the device has finger plates on each shaft to enhance gripping and prevent accidental slippage.
