The Ziegler Iris Knife offers an atraumatic way to incise the iris and its adnexa. Its principal function is to detach the iris from its attachments and create capsular incisions.
For this purpose, the instrument features a laterally curved blade with a sharp edge that permits smooth dissection. In addition, the blade is available in 5, 6 and 7mm sizes to suit different surgical approaches.
