The Young Prostatic Retractor offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to expose the prostate during partial and radical prostatectomy and during nodular resection.

For this purpose, the instrument features a flattened, L-shaped blade with a descending lip to anchor the prostate and pull it back. In addition, the blade is available in multiple profiles to suit a variety of prostate anatomies.

Moreover, the Young Prostatic Retractor features an ergonomically designed hollow handle. Also, the handle has two horns in the back for resting the fingers and prevent fatigue.
