The Wylie Renal Vein Retractor has multiple functions during surgery. All of these functions have the objective of controlling hemostasis.
To this end, the retractor has a long wide blade that comes with a concave curve. Surgeons can accommodate arteries and veins on the blade and afterwards pull them apart from the surgical field.
Moreover, the blade has a terminal curve and blunted rims for protecting nearby tissues. Also, the curved working surface grants comfortable retractions that do not cut the blood flow.
Lastly, all our Wylie Renal Vein Retractor are available in two working end sizes in order to treat patients of all age ranges.
