The Wound Retractor consists of a solid handle, a slender shaft and a pronged working-end. These features have their own unique surgical advantages.
For example, the shaft is available in malleable or rigid profiles. The malleable shaft grants grasping of deep cavity tissues. On the other hand, the rigid shaft comes handy when performing static retractions.
In addition, the working end has multiple prong designs. To this purpose, the tool is available in one, two, three and four prongs profiles. Also, the prongs can be both blunt or sharp, in order to ensure a safe manipulation of delicate tissues.
