The Wickstroem Dissecting and Ligature Forcep offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to atraumatically manipulate tissues to perform precise ligatures during surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of tapered, curved jaws that ensure access into narrow surgical sites. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have delicate serrations that promote optimal tissue fixation.
Moreover, the Wickstroem Dissecting and Ligature Forcep features a ratchet for self-locking the jaws. As a result, surgeons can apply different levels of clamping pressure onto vessels, tissue flaps and organs. The boxlock joint helps to close the jaws with smooth movements.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
