The Von Graefe Cataract Knife offers an atraumatic way of cutting through the corneal tissue. Its principal use is to provide maximum exposure of the anterior chamber during cataract surgery and other procedures.
For this purpose, the instrument features a straight sharp-pointed blade, which is ideal to cut the cornea from different angles. In addition, the blade size ranges from 1.5 x 25mm to 2.5 x 35mm to accommodate pediatric and adult patients.
Moreover, the Von Graefe Cataract Knife features a smooth-surfaced handle that enhances gripping. Also, the handle includes a square-shaped profile that prevents finger strain during lengthy procedures.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
