The Van-Doren Biopsy Punch is a scissor-like, grasping device that offers various advantages. Its principal use is to bite off uterine and cervix specimens for biopsy.

For this purpose, the instrument features angled, cone-shaped jaws that ensure atraumatic tissue harvesting. Also, one of the tips features a fenestration with horizontal wires for splitting the sample and carrying it with ease.

Moreover, the Van-Doren Biopsy Punch features angled shafts, which are useful to slide into the vaginal canal. In addition, the boxlock allows surgeons to close the tips against each other with smooth movement.
