The Universal Trocar offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to atraumatically cut through the muscular and other tissues of a cavity to extract fluids.

For this purpose, the instrument features a sharp three-cornered tip that easily severs soft tissues. In addition, the device includes four tips whose diameters range from 1.7 to 6.0mm. Also, all tips are interchangeable and have a helically grooved tip to screw into the handle.

Moreover, the Universal Trocar features a solid handle with a smooth surface that enhances gripping. Furthermore, the device includes a guard for protecting the surgeon’s hands from puncture after use.
