The Tweed Loop Forming Plier offers a broad range of benefits in orthodontic procedures. Its principal use is to perform helical loops in archwires to create teeth aligning positions.

For this purpose, the instrument features a powerful beak supplied with dissimilar tips. As a result, one tip has a standard conical design and permits to clamp the wire. The opposite tip has three bending, conical scales to contour the archwire in small, medium, and large diameters.

Moreover, the Tweed Loop Forming Plier features a plier grip style handle equipped with curved shafts for enhanced comfort. In addition, the river type joint allows for smooth movements to manipulate the wire with maximum accuracy.
