Toynbee Ear Specula helps doctors to detect diseases in the external canal of the ear, as well as the eardrum. Hence, it enables them to treat ear obstruction that can affect hearing. In addition, they can clean infections, wax, foreign bodies and ear discharge.

Therefore, we designed the device with a long profile to increase its reach to the eardrum. Moreover, the outer edge has serrations to connect to a light source. This allows you to obtain clear vision.

You can start by pulling back the ear to straighten the canal. Then, insert the Toynbee Ear Speculum into the ear canal slowly. The tip is blunt to prevent injuring surrounding structures. In addition, it has a straight and broad profile to enhance your vision of the external ear structures.

The Toynbee Ear speculum is 3.6 cm long. It is available with multiple diameters ranging from 4 to 7 mm to suit a wide range of patients. We also offer other devices like the Zoellner Ear Speculum for your convenience in ear exams. You can use these tools to suit every patient’s needs.

Instruments manufacture these devices from premium grade materials that you can depend on for years of fine service.
