For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of sharp-edged blades with a low-wear profile that ensures lifetime performance. In addition, the outer borders of the blades have a blunt design for preventing local injury.

Moreover, the Thyroidectomy Shear features a plier grip style handle that improves gripping. Also, the spring mechanism between the shanks is ideal to close the blades against each other with smooth movements.
