This Taylor (Mod. USA) Percussion Hammer is also known as a Tomahawk reflex hammer.
The Taylor Percussion Hammer consists of a triangular, solid, non-latex, rubber head and a solid, flat, stainless steel handle and is 20cm-8″ long.
The reflex hammer’s thermo-plastic-rubber triangular head has beveled apex and base employed to elicit myotatic reflex. The soft base and rounded apex are ideally suited in provoking myotatic responses in striking precise location of tendons. The Taylor Percussion Hammer is also suited to obtain chest sounds and to percuss the abdomen.
