The Tanna-Lieberman Eye Speculum offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to observe the eyeball and its adnexal tissues.

For this purpose, the instrument features fenestrated wire blades that promote conjunctival view. In addition, the blades have convex curves that easily slide under the orbital margin for optimal retraction.

Moreover, the Tanna-Lieberman Eye Speculum features an adjustable compound mechanism. It consists of movable arms attaches to a screw lock system. Surgeons can rotate the screw to tighten or broaden the space between the blades during exploration.
