For this purpose, the device features alligator-like jaws with a spoon shape that ensure an extremely secure grasping.

Moreover, the jaws have an ideal design for carrying cerumen impactions away from the ear canal. Also, the fenestrated spoon-shape is especially useful to place tubes during myringotomy.

In addition, the Struempel Alligator Forceps features finger rings that form a perpendicular angle with the shafts. This streamlined design provides an exceptional view of the surgical field.
