The Steinmann Tendon Holding Forcep offers a wide array of surgical advantages for orthopedic surgeons. These advantages come in handy to perform surgeries that require tendon manipulation.

For this purpose, the instrument comes with a pair of atraumatic, toothed jaws. Moreover, the jaws have an inward terminal curve and their teeth interlock for securing a strong clamping action. As a result, surgeons can statically retract tendons.

In addition, the device features long, straight shanks that connect the boxlock to a pair of finger rings. Also, the forceps has a ratchet mechanism that locks the instrument in place.
