The Sloane LASEK Micro Hoe & Epi Peeler offers multiple benefits for ophthalmic surgeons. These benefits play a vital role during LASEK procedures.

Firstly, the instrument features a double-ended design composed of a micro hoe tip on one side. On the other side, the device has an epi peeler.

Secondly, surgeons can peel the corneal epithelium using the epi peeler tip. After that, they lift the corneal flap hinge utilizing the micro hoe tip. As a result, the surgical staff obtains optimal access to the stromal tissue

Thirdly, the instrument comes with a central, round handle. Also, the handle has vertical ridges, which ensures a secure grip and avoids slippage.
