The Shepard Lens Holding Forcep offers multiple surgical advantages for ophthalmic surgeons. These advantages are convenient to perform efficient IOL implantations.

For this purpose, the instrument has a pair of curved jaws supplied with delicate paddle-shaped tips. Moreover, the paddles have small serrations that surgeons can use to carefully extract the IOL from the lens case. After that, the can guide it into the anterior segment with ease.
