The Shaaf Splinter Forcep offers a wide assortment of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to remove splinters and foreign objects from wounds and cavities.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of narrowed tips that help to traverse small passages and spaces with ease.
