The Semken Dressing Forcep is a thumb-type instrument that offers a wide assortment of benefits. Its main uses are holding swabs for maintaining a clear view of the operating site and removing debris.

For this purpose, the instrument features delicate, tapering jaws that easily pass into narrow spaces. Moreover, the low-wear internal serrations permit grasping delicate tissues without causing trauma. Also, surgeons can carry small swabs and drapes for absorbing blood and facilitate hemostasis.

In addition, the Semken Dressing Forcep features a spring style handle that comprises a pair of flat stems. The stems have outer horizontal ridges that help in preventing instrument slippage.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
