The Sauter Hydrodissection Cannula offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to cut fragile tissues, such as the lens capsule, in order to gain access to the lens nucleus and other structures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a 27 gauge tube that is useful to flush shoot fine, pressurized streams of water. In addition, the tube has a concave curve that conforms with the capsule’s anatomy. Also, the tube has an anterior port, which’s vertically-shaped design helps to dissect tissues from different angles.

Moreover, the Sauter Hydrodissection Cannula features a hub handle that provides an enhanced gripping. Also, the hub has an internal passage that permits an adequate flow of fluids.
