The Sauerbruch Retractor consists of a hook-type working end and a solid ridged handle. Moreover, the blade has blunted rims for avoiding local injury.

In addition, the retractor has a terminal curve on the blade. This feature allows surgeons to lock onto the tissues being treated.

On the other hand, the retractor’s handle has vertical ridges and slightly concave impressions. Both features grant a secure grip during long surgeries.

To conclude, all our Sauerbruch Retractors have a streamlined shaft. This particular design enhances the view of the surgical site.
