The Sauerbruch Needle Case offers various benefits during sterilization procedures. Its principal use is to hold needles in a secure position within the autoclave or hot air apparatus.
For this purpose, the instrument features a perforated pattern on the cover and bottom. As a result, the steam can easily seep into the case and sterilize the needles.
Moreover, the Sauerbruch Needle Case is available in two patterns, including one without compartments and other with seven compartments. Furthermore, the compartmentalised pattern is especially useful to classify different types of surgical needles during sterilization.
