The Salyer Cleft Palate Dissector offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to assist surgeons in soft tissue dissection during unilateral cleft lip repair and other procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a slightly curved blade with a round terminal tip for creating smooth incisions. In addition, the semi-sharp edges of the blade ensure atraumatic muscular and skin dissection. As a result, surgeons can free the abnormally attached tissues from their anchor points and reposition them.

Moreover, the Salyer Cleft Palate Dissector’s handle includes a round profile for enhanced control. Furthermore, the knurled grip style pattern that covers the handle’s surfaces prevent finger strain.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and product performance during surgical procedures.
