The Rudd Hemorrhoidal Ligator offers a wide assortment of surgical benefits. Its principal uses are to carry o-rings and provide an atraumatic way to perform haemorrhoidectomy.

For these purposes, the instrument features a tube with a straight profile to reach deep areas of the rectum. In addition, the tip of the tube has a circular frame to carry the 12.0mm charging cone. Using a spring-loaded system, surgeons can isolate haemorrhoids using o-rings.
