The operating scissor may be used to cut vessels, nerves, membranes as well as sutures.
The working end comprises of narrow, tenotomy blades that help to increase precision during dissection of delicate tissues.
The short blade to shank ratio also works to give the surgeon better control over dissection and minimize user fatigue.
The Reynolds SuperEdge™ Dissecting Scissor features the SuperEdge technology with special micro-serrations on one blade to secure grip on tissues. In contrast the second blade is razor sharp to provide clean, precise dissection planes.
The sharp blade also minimizes pull on adjacent tissue and minimizes inadvertent soft tissue damage.
Specifically designed with ergonomic ring handles, streamlined body and rivet screw joint to minimize stress on surgeons hand.
