The Putterman Mullers Muscle Conjunctival Resection Ptosis Forcep offers multiple benefits for ophthalmic surgeons. These benefits are ideal to manipulate the superior tarsal border tissues.

For this purpose, the instrument features T-shaped jaws provided with holes and teeth. Moreover, surgeons can use the jaws for clamping the superior tarsal conjunctiva and the Muller€™s muscle. After that, the can pass 5-0 catgut sutures below the clamp for ligating the conjunctiva and the muscle.

As a result, surgeons can correct ptosis and achieve an adequate elevation of the upper eyelid. Also, the device comes with flat handles with horizontal ridges to prevent finger strain.
