The Pratt Fistula Probe offers multiple advantages during rectum exploration. Its principal use is to probe colorectal fistulae and remove O-rings from ligated haemorrhoids.

For this purpose, the instrument features a hook-type probe that is ideal to catch O-rings and determine rectum abnormalities. In addition, the tip of the hook has a bulbous probe that minimizes damage to local tissues.

Moreover, the Pratt Fistula Probe features a straight shaft, which ensures deep surgical exploration. Also, the shaft attaches to an ergonomically designed handle that prevents accidental slippage.
