The Phalangeal Elevator offers multiple benefits for the orthopedic operating room. These benefits are especially important to remove the joint capsule and periosteal flaps during certain surgeries.
For example, the elevator comes with a double-angled blade with a round cutting edge. Moreover, the device angles backward after the shank and then angles straight at the tip. This profile is convenient for suiting the anatomy of phalanges while lifting and cutting periosteum.
