The Ochsner Atrauma Aortic Clamps offer a wide variety of benefits during surgeries involving major blood vessels. These benefits play a vital role in controlling hemostasis during complex vascular procedures.
For this purpose, the clamps feature a couple of jaws with horizontal serrations on their inner surface. Moreover, the jaws have a backward angle after the boxlock and a forward angle in their terminal part. As a result, the jaws form a 50mm hollow space for holding large arteries and veins.
Besides, the clamps come with long, slim shanks that angle backward, which connect the boxlock to a ratchet. The ratchet has multiple indentations for controlling the closure pressure. Also, it permits self-retaining occlusions.
Lastly, all our Ochsner Atrauma Aortic Clamps grant optimal clamping during specialized procedures. Surgeons can use these clamps for aortic aneurysms repairing, dissection of saphenous vein grafts for coronary artery bypass, and other surgeries.
