The Obwegeser Mandibular Retractor offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to grab the mandible by the condyloid or coronoid processes, or by its dull borders, and retract it to the desired position.

For this purpose, the instrument features a 90° angled blade with a bent upwards edge that ensures optimal traction. In addition, the blade’s U-shaped edge fits against the contour of the jaw borders with comfort.

Moreover, the Obwegeser Mandibular Retractor is available in three blade sizes that range from 12 x 30 to 12 x 60mm. As a result, surgeons can pick an adequate size to accommodate a variety of patients.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
