The O’Brien Orthodontic Plier offers a broad range of benefits during orthodontic procedures. Its principal use is to contour and manipulate archwires around teeth to deliver correcting forces.
For this purpose, the instrument features a powerful beak provided with dissimilar tips. As a result, one of the tips has a traditional tapered, conical design. The opposite tip has three bending scales, represented by conical surfaces. When placing archwires in orthodontics, the operator can bend the wires at different loop diameters using each scale.
Moreover, the O’Brien Orthodontic Plier features a rivet type joint that ensures smooth movements. Also, the plier grip style handle has arched shafts to ergonomically suit the hand and prevent tiredness.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and product performance during surgical procedures.
