The Norwood Rectal Snare offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to excise abnormal tissue masses from the lower digestive tract.

For this purpose, the instrument features an elongated, straight tube that permits to reach deep surgical targets. In addition, the tip of the tube includes a spring-loaded wire loop that the operator place around lessons. After that, they can remove the tissue using the spring-loaded system.

Moreover, the Norwood Rectal Snare features three finger rings that enhance handling. Also, surgeons can pull the bottom ring to activate the spring and encircle polyps or other abnormal tissues.
