The Nerve Approximator offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to permit safe, tension-free anastomosis of severed tendons and delicate nerves.

For this purpose, the device features a pair of needles or bulldog clamp clips for holding the nerve’s ends. In addition, the clamps or needles are easy to adjust using a knurled handle key. As a result, surgeons can control the clamping pressure and prevent nerve damage.

Moreover, the Nerve Approximator features a fenestrated sliding bar that permits approximation. Also, surgeons can statically control the width between the tips using the adjustment key.
