The Mohr Pinchcocks offer a wide range of surgical advantages. Their principal use is to manipulate the lumen of suction tubes during thoracocentesis, paracentesis and other procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features a flexible, circular structure for embracing the tube with ease. After that, surgeons can tighten the circle’s diameter to tighten the tubing and control the fluid flow.

Moreover, the Mohr Pinchcocks features a spring handle design that ensures easy compression. Also, the lateral round plates are useful to manipulate and place the instrument during the procedure.
