Our Cosgrove Mitral Valve Retractor comes with three delicate blades for retraction of teh delicate valves.
Secures and retracts the thorax after a mid-sternotomy for improved surgical access to internal organs. Includes special blades for addition at apropriate step and retraction of the delicate heart tissue.
Especially includes a broad sternum blade on each side to transfer maximum force to the sternum. The remaining blades have special delicate fenestrations to gently retract the valvular tissue.
The retracting forceps have smooth outer edges to prevent soft tissue damage.
The instrument also has an ergonomic design and lightweight to ensure comfortable handling. Moreover, it comes with a screw lock for all the blades to decrease user fatigue.
